3. Access data and hosting
When visiting this website, technically necessary access data may be processed, including IP address, date and time, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, accessed pages and server log data. Processing is based on the legitimate interest in providing, securing and stabilising the website.
4. Cookies and consent
According to the current setup, this website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. A technically necessary local browser setting may be stored to remember your privacy notice choice and avoid showing the notice on every page view. If optional services, analytics tools or embedded third-party content are added later, they should only be activated after separate consent.
5. Contact, newsletter, donations and membership
If you contact us by email, subscribe to the newsletter, donate or use membership-related services, the data you provide is processed for the respective purpose. Newsletter registration should use double opt-in. Donations and donation receipts may require processing of name, address, payment data and payment reference to comply with legal obligations.
6. Local information, weather and forest fire danger level
The “Local Info” page displays publicly available regional data. The forest fire danger level for Oberhavel is retrieved server-side from the official XML data source of the Brandenburg Ministry for Agriculture, Environment and Consumer Protection (MLEUV) and cached in WordPress. Weather data is loaded from Open-Meteo and weather warnings from Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD WarnWetter). When browser-side external data is loaded, technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, time, browser information and requested resource, may be transmitted to the respective provider. Processing is based on the legitimate interest in providing current local environmental and weather information.
7. External links
This website may contain links to external services such as easyVerein, Facebook or Twitter/X. External offers are opened only when you click the respective link. The privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
8. Retention and rights
Personal data is deleted when the purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention or documentation duties prevent deletion. You have statutory rights to information, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent with effect for the future.
9. Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Brandenburg, the competent authority is: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht, Dagmar Hartge, Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow, Germany, phone: +49 33203 356-0, fax: +49 33203 356-49, email: Poststelle@LDA.Brandenburg.de, website: www.lda.brandenburg.de.
